Chalet L'Etoile des Vents is located on the hillside above the town of Morzine and offers guests some of the best views in the Alps from its balconies. The elevated position ensures a peaceful night of sleep and offers children a large open snow field to sledge and build snowmen in a safe environment. The town centre is approximately 15 minutes walk without ski equipment or shopping bags (more like 20 minutes on the way back up the hill!), but we do strongly recommend that you have your own transport when staying at this chalet (less than 5 minutes drive from the town centre). Please note that there are no public bus services on this road.

For all but beginner skiers it is possible to ski very close to the chalet and the reliability of the nearby piste has been boosted by the recent installation of new snow cannons. The main return piste for Morzine ‘Retour des Nants' runs behind the chalet, and there is also a junction of 2 chairlifts approximately 400 metres up the road, providing a quiet and queue-free entry into two different sectors of the Morzine-Nyon-Les Gets ski circuit.
