Childcare
We are always happy to welcome younger guests to our chalets and understand the expense involved with a family ski holiday. To that end we have some of the biggest child reductions in the area and can tailor our service to help Mum and Dad by suppling cots, stair gates, high chairs etc in all chalets. Each chalet has a safe outside space in which children can enjoy building snowmen!
We also offer a children's menu in all chalets. Our approach to this is simple; we have a chat with you about your children's diet to find out what they like and what they don't like. We usually offer the same menu as the parents but simplified and with no strong flavours. For example with the Tartiflette, we will use less garlic, less onion, no wine, less reblochon (smelly local cheese) but more bacon, more Emmental and green beans or carrots as a side dish. However we are happy to do any of the classic children's favourites such as fish fingers, cottage pie, spaghetti bolognaise … and there is always plenty of tomato sauce in stock!
Should you wish for your little ones to be looked after (either in the comfort of the chalet or the local snow garden) we can help you to make arrangements. There are plenty of great childcare options in the area.
NANNY SERVICES
Jack Frost's:
A well run and highly professional British nanny agency that can either offer a service in the comfort of the chalet or collect the children from their ski lessons. The nanny brings a selection of toys, arranges a whole range of fun activities during the week and can cook a simple and healthy lunch. They can arrange to do some baby-sitting during the evenings too.
Cheeky Monkeys:
Another British-run company based in Morzine. They can care for your children in the holiday chalet or they can also provide a pick up and drop off service for children in ski school. The nanny brings a selection of toys suitable for all ages and the nanny will have a selection of activities arranged for your children during the week.
Piou-Piou club:
From 3 years old. This is the nursery club of the French Ski School (ESF) in Morzine. Children are looked after in a "snow kindergarten" or on the slopes by ESF instructors. When the children are not partaking in skiing activities, the team of instructors will provide fun indoor and outdoor activities, depending on the weather.
L'Outa Nursery:
This fully accredited creche in Morzine looks after children from 3 months old to 5 years and is run by a non-profit organisation. It has a dedicated baby room for children under 16 months old with feeding stations, changing rooms and beds. Older children benefit from play rooms, a dining room and a great outdoor playground.
