Opening in time for Christmas 2022 the Hameau des Prodains will offer 5 apartments sleeping from 4 to 10 guests and in an unrivalled setting. The Premat family are third generation hoteliers and restaurateurs and thanks to their bold vision the once tranquil cattle farm that stood on this site is but a distant memory. The cow bells that adorn the side of the new building are a nod to the history, and a sense of sincere hospitality remains unchanged in the 21st Century on a site that goes from strength to strength.
The Hotel les Prodains opened in the late 1960s and has built up a deserved reputation as one of the best in the area. Guests at the apartments can experience all that the hotel has to offer with B&B and half board options available in the hotel restaurant as well as the use of the sauna and hot tub. Breakfast is a delicious buffet with so much made on the premises rather than bought in (homemade flans, jams, and yoghurts to name but a few). A laid back après ski venue known as "L'Adresse"is operated by the same family and sits just a few metres away behind the residence, offering casual dining and drinks throughout the ski day. Apartment guests benefit from priority reservations in both restaurants.
Arrive by airport transfer and you'll not need to think about transport all week with a speedy cable car to the car-free resort of Avoriaz on your doorstep. From there the entire Portes du Soleil is at your disposal. If you do prefer to drive there is secure parking available at no extra cost. Once inside the residence you will see that convenience is paramount and you will benefit from a lift, a ski and boot drying room and even shared washing machine / tumble dryer facilities at no extra cost. The apartments themselves, named after prominent local peaks, sleep from 4 to 10 guests and are all furnished to a high standard that is contemporary yet still in touch with its alpine roots. All apartments have fabulous balconies or terraces depending on which level they are located on.
The smallest apartment "Ressachaux" is 58m2 with two bedrooms (one bathroom) whilst the larger 90m2 "Angolon" and "Bostan" apartments boast 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms plus a bunk room, making them comfortable for 6 guests. For a group of 8 the duplex "Fornet" apartment on two levels offers 3 bedrooms plus a bunk room and 3 bathrooms, and the largest apartment "Hauts Forts" is a beautiful top floor penthouse extending to 125m2. This again has 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a bunk room and two additional beds on a mezzanine floor above the living space. A small studio called "Morzinette" can be added to act as overspill for any of the apartments or as a standalone two person room with meals taken in the hotel.

At the head of the old slate mining valley that leads from Morzine the road runs out and the only way is up! Under the shadow of the mighty Hauts Forts the Hameau des Prodains sits next to the cable car and just a 4 minute ride from the car free resort of Avoriaz.
For anyone wishing to access Morzine the free ski bus leaves from outside the residence and takes 10 minutes.
